Asbestos Abatement - Business

Abatemaster executed a complex, multi-phase asbestos abatement project at a commercial building in Charlotte NC, balancing operational needs with stringent safety protocols. The project involved phased removal of both asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and non-ACM flooring across administrative, warehouse, and maintenance areas. By coordinating closely with the client and other contractors, Abatemaster ensured minimal disruption to ongoing operations while adhering to North Carolina’s rigorous health and safety standards.
This project highlighted Abatemaster’s expertise in managing large-scale industrial abatement with precision, including specialized containment strategies for active workspaces, permit acquisition for friable materials, and seamless collaboration with construction partners.
Project Description
Abatemaster conducted comprehensive asbestos abatement services across three distinct phases of work at the commercial facility. Our team:

- Coordinated with general contractor for pre-demolition preparation
- Obtained all required permits from NC Health Hazard Control
- Implemented air monitoring and testing protocols
- Managed non-ACM removal of approximately 1,700 SF of flooring materials
- Disposed of all materials according to federal and state regulations
